State senator on social issues

Marty Golden represents part of Midwood, and paints an unflattering portrait of us:

Local voters “don’t really give a rat’s ass about social issues,” Golden said. The state senator apparently figures that gives him carte blanche to waste the legislative body’s time pushing hateful legislation to eliminate rights and marginalize our gay neighbors, family and friends.

    I see Golden has introduced anti-gay legislation in the Senate (and stood with Carl Kruger in opposing gay rights 2 years ago).  Almost unbelievable.

    TY for posting the link for everyone. I did write him a couple days ago but his office is slow in acknowledging my email, unlike other legislators. I guess he doesn’t give a rat’s ass.
